Tatting Work of Maria Antonietta

Maria Antonietta is born and lives in Conversano near Bari, she has learned this technique from an uncle when she was a child. She remains bewitched by the tatting and decided to make it a profession. During the years she improves her tecnique eliminating the knots at the begining and at the end of the works, succeeding also in giving the face stitch and the purl stitch. In this way the lace becomes perfect. Actually she teaches the tatting and embroidery technique in a local association, with the purpose of perpetuing this noble tradition.
